Description

Building, Leading, & Sustaining High Performing Teams

Have you ever been a member of a great team at work? A team you actually loved to work with every day? A team that pushed you to attain goals you initially may have thought were impossible?

In today’s business world, teams drive organizational success. Yet forming and leading high-performance teams is one of the most complex challenges any leader will face. This half-day seminar and workshop will help you identify, develop, and sharpen the skills necessary to bring your team to a new level.

Well-integrated, high-performing teams–those that “click”–never lose sight of their goals. Over time, they largely become self-sustaining, described by author Jim Collins as the “flywheel” effect. It all comes down to leadership. Learn how to become the type of leader people respect, follow, and perform for at very high levels.

Discuss and interact as you learn new leadership and management concepts about directing multicultural teams, virtual teams, and teams in multiple locations.

The workshop format is a combination of presentation, exercises, and discussions. The facilitator will introduce new concepts, share real-life examples of their use in the workplace, and encourage participants to develop practical means of applying them directly to their current work situations. The presentation includes a PowerPoint, handouts, assessment tools, and video content.
